William ‘Patrick’ Lee was born and raised in Georgia, and lived in Atlanta since 2001. In 2005, he graduated from Georgia State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. The following two years he worked for the intellectual property practice group of a large downtown law firm. He then attended Georgia State University College of Law during which time he worked as a graduate research assistant with the Philip C. Cook Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic and the College of Law’s Litigation Program. He also studied as a Pupil with the Bleckley Inn of Court, and participated in the Estate Planning and Wealth Management and Environmental Law legal societies. During and after his second year, he interned at a boutique law firm that specialized in estate planning, probate and asset protection.
After graduating in 2011, his strong interest in litigation blossomed while working on a complex landlord/tenant claim that calumniated in a one week trial. This was a turning point in his career and decided to begin working with a small firm specializing in helping individuals with their personal and work-related injuries. It did not take long for him to realize that in order to best serve his clients, he needed represent the other side (insurance companies) to fully understand how both sides of the coin operate independently and as a whole. Consequently, he joined a defense firm to learn how to best serve injured individuals from the inside out. This experience was invaluable in terms of his ability to provide knowledgeable representation and advice. He returned to Plaintiff’s practice after more than a year working for the defense.
He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the Atlanta Bar Association, the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, and the Buckhead Business Association.
Patrick currently handles workers’ compensation claims and personal injuries. He knows the system inside out and takes pride in helping his clients. He also continues to utilize his probate and estate planning skills to assist his clients with their wills, advance medical directives, and powers of attorney. He has trial experience before judges and juries and provides individualized representation for each client.
